Things I've learned from a day of playing.
This game is lacking in information, on a number of systems. I hope this helps people that find the game after me.

1) This game has an inventory system. It's easy to miss, if you didn't read the whole store page. Press Tab to view. You mostly get items here from chests and Dungeon.

2) The free key cooldown seems to be about 5 minutes

3) The idle gold/token generators are really strong, invest early in a planet.

4) After you get enough pickaxe strength, chop speed, run speed, and reach to clear tiles fast, the low chance RNG upgrades at the bottom get really strong. The token one, especially, for maxxing pickaxe upgrades to push through a planet.

5) Most pickaxe upgrades have caps. Sharper Pickaxe goes to 50. Strong Legs goes to 26. Long Legs goes to 14. More Blocks goes to 10. Long Arms goes to 6.5. Most RNG goes to 0.1% or 1%, depending. The only exception I've seen is Slammer.

6) Spirits are gained from the Dungeon, which you can afford to unlock around halfway through a planet's progression (the A-Z floors of the Mine). Dungeon gives tokens for breaking blocks, and most blocks also drop items that aren't saved to your inventory until you make it back out the entrance... there are some holes in the floor that you can fall down and "die" losing all your gains in dungeon, but with maxxed jump and movement, it's not too hard to avoid. Just spend most of your time in safe areas doing loops for ore block. Ore blocks regenerate after about 30 seconds. You see most of the same items you get from the chest system in town, with a few exceptions.

Shared items: Bank Notes, Token Notes.
Chests only: Potions, notes that boost generator or backpack or planet level
Dungeon only: Refined Gems/Gold Bars that sell for large amounts of money, Key Fragments (10 to make a random key of the planet you're on), Spirit Potions (rolls a random spirit, if you already have it it gives fragments based on rarity, fragments are spent to level spirits without mining blocks)

NOTE: Dungeons give higher amounts of items per drop on higher planets, and the items can be used later, on planets that give more tokens/gold... this is a strong way to kickstart progression on a new planet. Use the gains to get the idle generators running, and let it build while you go and do another dungeon run on the previous planet.

** 7) Rebirthing -- this one is a pain. I didn't try rebirthing until the end of the 3rd planet, and I regret it. Because there doesn't seem to be any way to earn more than 1 Rebirth Point per Rebirth, even if you're WAY past the minimum level/block requirements for rebirthing. And it also seems to be 1 RP per Rebirth, every rebirth, as the requirements slowly climb.

The upside, is you get RP to use on the mega upgrades, and mega upgrades can be freely respecced. So I think they're worth doing alot earlier, to bank RP and help things along.

Spirits are about the only thing that carry over on Rebirth, so having some can help with the reclimb, so just do some dungeon runs before rebirthing the first time. The best part of the mine to farm seems to be the "right side". If you go far enough, you'll find some really thin tunnels that lead to a small room with a dozen ore blocks, and a ton of blocks nearby you can loop through.

Actually leveling spirits takes ALOT of XP / Blocks mined, but the RP Mega Upgrades multiply Spirit XP gain, so that should help, and is another reason to rebirth early, at least until you get all the rebirthing achievements and feel happy with your RP total.

EDIT: Found another big upside to waiting a long time to rebirth, after wasting 1-2hrs playing slow. The free keys. the more planets you unlock, the more stuff you can skip. Just wait for some free keys, and use them in your deepest planet, and you'll soon get a bunch of tokens or gold and can use that to earn more with the generators, and quickly do the easy rebirths...

Power Procc chance%: this affects all of the RNG mechanics. Token Bag, Slammer, Nuker, Gold Rush, Auto-Sell, and Key Finder.

Found on a potion and some spirits.

That's all I've got, for now. Just rebirthed 30 minutes ago, for the first time, and couldn't continue playing without writing this.

Others can feel free to contribute to this thread with any other insight they may have that I don't or that I've missed.

I went back to Earth 1 with later planet tokens, and confirmed that all shop upgrades have caps, except maybe backpack (took it all the way to 100k, and that took some time with an autoclicker).

Faster pickaxe caps at 504, for some reason.
Valuable Ores and Tokenable Blocks cap at 1000% total,
Key Finder caps at 0.125% instead of 0.1%
Slammer caps at 1%, but since it earns 0.001% per level, it takes 10-100x as many purchases as the other RNG upgrades, and is super expensive. I usually only aim for 0.1% while still farming a planet.

Also, Earth 2 / ???? is a big spike in costs, for not as big a spike in gains. The dungeon on Earth 2 costs the same amount of money as unlocking the final planet, and enough tokens that it might be better to just keep spending money on the token idler, considering how much easier it is to earn $100T vs 5T tokens.

Go for a run where you unlock all the planets before doing a rebirth, then put the rebirth point into the autominer, go to the last planet (doesn't reset on rebirth) and just hand loose for a bit, sell what the autominer gets for you, use that to buy max levels on the first planet and rebirth. Repeat as many times as ya want.

This is great advice, and pretty much exactly what I was leaning towards in my last edit (altho the auto-miner was a great addition)...

I just returned to the game yesterday, and finished unlocking the final planet, and started doing this... with auto-miner, you actually just need to run to the shop chest, run out, return to Earth, max max rebirth, repeat... keep reinvesting into autominer, to keep earning enough gold to rebirth... it really helps if you unlocked the Money Purist spirit and leveled it some... I'm earning $200-700b in straight rush in and out with this and an increasing amount of autominers...

EDIT: Also just realized that Ghost Blocks works with Auto-Miner, for multiplicative auto-opens... so should definitely combine them earlier, since Ghost is so cheap to max, compared to Auto-Miner...

Thanks to this, I can also now include info on the RP shop. All RP shop upgrades have caps. Most only cost 10-15 RP to cap, 3 cost 50-55 RP each... so, if you only want to be able to cap anything one at a time, you only need to rebirth until the cost of the next one is 280 Earth levels... but if you want to cap everything, you need 205 RP, or to rebirth until the cost of the next one is 1030 levels (which I think is around $40T, from what I remember of my first rebirth after unlocking planet 5)...

EDIT: 1000 levels on Earth is alot cheaper than I thought. Turns out, the Max Level button has a 1000 levels per click cap, click again and you'll get a bunch more levels. $2-3T is enough for 1150 levels.

Power Gens = +500% = 10 RP (10x1)
Ghost Blocks = +5 = 10 RP (5x2)
Dungeon Respawn = +250% = 10 RP (10x1)
Spiritual = +500% = 15 RP (1+2+3+4+5)
Automine = +50/sec = 50 RP (50x1)
Powerful Pickaxe = +100% = 55 RP (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10)
Shopper = -50% = 55 RP (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10)

As a completionist, I'm planning to max the shop, level all the spirits, and level all the planet shops with caps... maybe even do some crazy generator levels on lower level planets...

Getting into the way lategame now, with RP shop maxxed, and I gave the Bigger Backpack upgrade another go in the shop... figured I'd push it 1m or 10m, just to see if it ever capped... and it does... at 250,500 (500 being the base + 250k purchased 25 at a time... so you need to buy 100,000... pretty unreasonable without an autoclicker)...

Haven't finished experimenting yet... need to find out if the number is a hardcap, or it can be increased more with the chest item that increases backpack capacity... if it's a hardcap, people without autoclickers might be able to hit the cap using the chests...

Re:Chests: I've started using the chests more, now that I'm done rebirthing... every time you level a world, you get a level up key, and you can get crazy amounts of those keys from leveling on Earth... Level Chests give some sort of relative amount of tokens that just keeps scaling up, as well as some items and the top chest key, which can give spirit flasks and money and other things... just spamming these chests can get you way more tokens and maybe money than mining/dungeon are ever going to give, so it's a self-perpetuating loop, I think... I'm at aa money and ee token now, all the token shop stuff is capped, and leveling up 1000s of times still only costs me billions, at 10k+ (and aa/bb/cc starts after M/B/T/Q)

NOTE: Don't forget to enable fast items/chests in the options menu (ESC) so you don't have to use one at a time... this resets every time you log out, same as spirit equips do...

I only need to get one more spirit after opening about 100-150 spirit flasks from the chests and 50-100 from the dungeon... and leveling the spirits is pretty fast with 50/sec automining +5x Ghost Blocks and 10x boost from the token shop (not sure if it's 16x or 50x combined, but it's still alot)...

EDIT: With some bad luck, it took me another 300-400 chest spirit flasks to get my final spirit unlock (Legendary Grand Wizard)... while working on it, I learned that it takes about 51,000 Level Treasure Chests and 2000-3000 Enchanted Treasure Chests to reach cc Money and zz Tokens... I'll find out what happens at 999zz tokens once I have everything else maxxed, in case it does something weird...

This will probably be my final update on tips and tricks...

Guess I was wrong... leveling Earth so high caused the Not Responding bug that happens when you next try to enter the mines on ANY planet (there's a bug report, I just forgot about it until it happened)... luckily, rebuilding is pretty easy, after so much RP farming, so I was able to just rebirth and go back to spirit XP farming...

The final 3 achievements seem like a real pain to get (1m, 10m, 100m ore mined)
