HELP game freezing

Im on the dementors kiss level. Year three. After i jump on the flowers that push me up and i get on the ledg and do somthing it freezes and i cant use task manager to close. What do I do?

Do you mean the "Dark Tower" Level, don't you (going after your discription for the part, where you are)? If so, did you try the solution in this thread from post 10?

I had this problem a few days ago. Make sure the game is on 2 player mode and one chatracter is away from the platform where the statues are. Make the statue in the box and then go to the corner of the platform so you can't see the ice door. "Blind" hit the statues by turning the character around so the statues turn but you can't see the ice melting. Worked for me. As a warning, you may also find fault in the first level of year 4.

I had the problem. I had to play it alone, not in the 2 player mode.
(With 2 Player mode I 've got a split screen..)
Make sure that Hermione is a little far away from the balcony. A good hint is to free Crookshank, so she spend more time to take it back, and she will be far from you.
As Harry you float in the "flower-fan thing", hit the statue and AS SOON AS YOU CAN swap to Hermione, who must be in the floor below . (using the key that swap between the playables characters - K or 3 in standard keyboard).
