Controller VS Keyboard And Mouse?
I started playing with Keyboard and mouse atm, and I don't like it. I'm going to try my controller later on. What does everyone else prefer?

All LEGO games are designed to be used with controllers. Thier support for keyboard and mouse is very poor.

I use keyboard. But I am old school from 25-30 years ago when it was only keyboard and no mouse and I had to play DOOM using the LEFT CTRL to shoot, ALT to strafe with the arrow keys making you move, SPACE to open doors, 1-2-3-4 to switch weapons, so that is nothing.

I heard all the bad things about LEGO games with keyboard control and realized it's like 4 extra keys...W A S D is normal for all games to move, H, J, K, U seem to be the others.

I have not played HP so not sure if it's the same or if there are more keys for things.

I played with my keyboard at first and it wasn't really good. Controller is much better for this game :)

If you wanna be able to play the game without having to concentrate on your hands, controller is the way to go. Unless you want to actually put up with the headache that is the keyboard and mouse controls (you almost need 3 hands to accomplish this).

I've been playing with the controller since and it defnitely works alot easier and makes it more fun

keyboards and mice are mostly for old people, use a controller unless your doing your taxes.

okay personaly i think keyboard and mouse feel the same for every game they work fine even the lego games but i do use a controller so if you have a controller use it.

Idk about you guys but I didnt use the mouse.. But I did use the keyboard probably because not I started off with PC gaming not console gaming so its mush esier for me now I bound my arrow keys to move, w as tag s as shoot hold s as aim d as main action and r and f to swich spells and charactors on freeplay.
Alot of people might think this is a headach machine but for me its surprisingly easy, and 55 hours through the game (11 of them on the pause screen afk) Im already 82.2 persent through.

LEGO 1-4 is worse on a controller if you play with 2 people. It often loses the second one during the cutscenes and it won't come back. There is also one scene where you are being chased on a bridge and you can't finish it with 2 controllers, because it loses the second one and the second player just stands there and keeps the level from progressing. This game is very poorly designed. The second one is much better and I agree, much better playable with controllers.
