Textures?

I've tried to change the textures to high and to turn enhanced graphics on, but whenever I restart the game as it tells me to do, they revert back to default. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Are you sure your applying settings, and not reverting settings?? I did this myself several times.

I just checked, I really applied the settings, after which it tells me I need to restart the game for the changes to happen. But whenever I restart the game the settings are reverted back to default.. The only thing the game actually changed is the screen resolution
