XBox 360 Controller lost
Hi,

Just bought the Harry Potter games (years 1-4 & years 5-7) in the recent WB sale. Installed and started playing using a XBox for Windows Controller. Initially had no issues whatsoever and played for several hours.
Since then however I am unable to use the controller. The game starts, registers a button push during the opening credits to skip them, then again recognises the controller as says Push a button to begin. After this at the main menu the controller is no longer detected, if I go in to the settings and control configuration the game is set up for keyboard, and even the change device option fails to detect the controller.
This is highly frustrating as the Lego games for me are far easier to play with a controller. The store page says full controller support, and it used to work.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

BTW I'm running Windows 10 (Insider Preview build 10547)

Seem to have fixed it. I remembered that I updated to the new Insider Preview (10547) the day after I first played. I checked the XBox controller driver version and compared it to the one in Windows.old - they are different. Decided to try changing the driver via device manager and loaded in the other one that was listed from 2009. Controller now working in the game again!
:-)
Did you pressed any key on the keyboard (even something like multimedia keys, e.g. louder)?
The game will then use only the keyboard. Just restart the game and do not press anything on the keyboard!

On a side note: (Full) controller support means how good the game works with Steam Big Picture mode.
