Not totally correct - and not totally comparable. Skywalker Saga is not a Remaster, it's a 100% totally new game that (beyond the same franchise) has nothing in common with its predecessors.
What actually was a remaster is the Complete Saga, which remastered the original LEGO Star Wars plus LEGO Star Wars II - The Original Trilogy. And both are OOP and delisted for quite a long time and have completely been replaced by the Complete Saga. Which would indicate it's very likely that after the LHP Collection release also the separate releases might disappear at some time...

I'm just going to leave this here. https://www.reddit.com/r/LegoStarWarsVideoGame/comments/xuz77y/cant_find_lego_star_wars_ii_the_original_trilogy/

Then again SteamDB does have a listing for LSW2. Maybe it was planned to be on Steam? There are no packages or Token's related to it so maybe one needs to be found? Considering it says it's release date is 2009 though, that quite late to release it on Steam when TCS is already out

Still willing to agree for now that it was never digital as everywhere I look points to it never being released digitally. It would probably be pretty obvious to the LSW community if it was released digitally

Well, I guess it was available digitally on XBOX Live. But this is a totally moot discussion. The initial question did not state "delisted form STEAM". Games can also be delisted physically or from other platforms.
Also offering games digitally is not for free - as some naive people in this thread seem to think. If there is a newer or updated version of something available and keeping the old stuff online costs money any real world company that want's to stay in business will get to they point where they think about cost optimization. Offering digital as well as physical media is no charity. It's business.
Btw. the LSWTCS for PC released physically in October 2009 with two years delay to the console versions and I can't imagine it was out on STEAM before 2012/2013 or so. Early LEGO games for PC where physically released budget titles. To my knowledge the first LEGO game to actually launch on STEAM was Marvel Super Heroes in 2013. And that's when they also started selling much more expensive and getting tons of DLC. So not sure about this LSW2 entry... Maybe they confused it and actually meant Saga?
I think some answers are missing the point. If we use an example of a game I bought 10 years ago that's been delisted, while other people can no longer buy it; I can continue to install the game on a fresh machine. It has been off the store for more than 6 years. So when they do list a game the installs continue to work. I have more than one game that works this way.

Again there may not be a guarantee, it cost them almost nothing, due to the methods used to install.
