How to get past the troll??

Hey,
so, I obviously just started playing and i'm stuck already. I've hit the troll once so far but now everytime it throws a part of debris at me I simply cannot catch it. The blue circle that appears when you press the action button is too slow to focus on it. Is there any possibility to change it in the settings or to skip the level? I've watched some walkthroughs on youtube and it appears to be so simple but i've played like an hour already on that stupid scene and just can't get it. I'm really fed up.

This is how it should work...SPOILER...
Once the ceiling starts collapsing around the troll and he starts throwing bits at you, you have to dodge the other stuff and 'throw' the 'Purple' block(s) back (using K, held down, quickly when the flying block highlights) to stun him (there isn't any aiming involved with that), then move in closer to use leviosa on the trolls' club to deliver the 'knock-out' blow.

all you gota do is look around the room try spell and jump on objects cant say exacly but i got their eventually
