Doesnt work on steam deck

All I get is crazy flashing colors when I try to play on my steam deck.

Got it to work on steam deck. managed to get a Bluetooth controller connected however CLOUD SAVES DONT transfer to PC. So I had to remote play to PC from the steam deck at 1024X768 resolution to have 2 screens. I couldn't connect the mouse as in input but could the controller and keyboard.

Same here.
Tried to check the compatibility with proton too, didn't work for me.
I asked for a refund.
Really disappointing. I Hope Steam will do something about it.

Installing Steamworks Common Redistributbles from the Steam library fixed it for me, as per the thread linked below. I hope Valve ensures this is just installed by default on all Decks so no one else has this issue.

EdisLeado's post fixes the problem with the installation script not running for future games.
Prior to that, I had to manually install the Direct X and Visual C runtimes.
