Year 4 - 1 red book glitch [Resolved]

i cant get past this level, i know that i need to become invisible to tackle the red book but it wont work for me! any solutions?

how do i get in the area its blocking then? ive seen videos where players have tackled it to get in

What exactly is the problem? You are not able to "kill" the book, and Harry takes his cloak off instead? Or something else?

i cant play as harry is this part, just the weasleys and hermoine, i have to take an invisible potion to then tackle the book, but no matter what button i press the characters do nothing to the book!

You have to wait until the little white triangle pointing to the book changes colour, to your character's colour (like when you put ingredients into the cauldron), then press the special action button (I play with Xbox controller, so for me it's B). Does that not happen to you?

If this does not work, you'll have to wait a bit until I get to that level again to see what is going on, I'm currently in Y3 and have no complete playthroughs on this laptop yet.

He talking about first mission of year 4, i had the same issue. Turned out you need to "ride" that book :D Press the button that changes character/enters mount near this book.
