LEGO® Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Lego Harry Potter Windows 10
Hello, I did everything everyone suggested. Does the Game Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 work on Windows 10? I am still freezing after I light up the torches in the Last Chapter of Prisoner of Azkaban.

This was quite a while ago, but yes, it works on Windows 10. You are experiencing a common problem with the animation of those torches, and perhaps you've found the solution in this forum already with switching players or graphics settings. Read this solution if you still are having problems: http://steamcommunity.com/app/21130/discussions/0/618458030678089713/
is this the only crash on win 10? i want to buy this but if its going to be a pain I wont bother.

i playing it on windows 10 , although it didn't crash on last chapter of Prisoner of Azkaban. but it did freeze once when i walking around Hogwarts grounds area. it might just be because you don't have a powerful PC computer

You have to turn off the dynamic light quality. Found this and translated it from the JOGO TRAVANDO thread.

-In windows XP go to C: \ Documents and Settings \ your username \ Application Data \ WB Games \ LEGO Harry Potter

-In windows 8 go to C: \ Users \ your username \ Appdata \ Roaming \ WB Games \ Lego Harry Potter

Find a file called pcconfig.txt, make a backup of it (when you pass this phase return the original file without the modifications). Change the "DesiredDynamicLightQuality" to 0. This is what is causing problems in the game at this stage. If you want to be more sure that it will work change the "MouseSensitivity" to 0.

These changes will make the lights look weird, but at least the game no longer closes / hangs. Once again, as you pass the level, close the game, return to the pcconfig.txt file and delete the modified and return the original. So the game gets the normal graphics again. : steamhappy:

Thank you so much!
It helped, I changed both settings and could finally complete the level. Thanks!
