And my suggestion is that considering we have this amazing combat system here, there should be large, Boss-type enemies that you can actually use it against.
Nothing's more satisfying than clawing a gigantic beast to death.
It can still be added as bonus levels though, so nothing is lost.
When I saw the ending, I was like : "WTF? THAT'S IT?"..
The hitboxes are really bad too.
That was the hardest game I've ever played in my life. Am I a noob or this game is really really hard?
yeah, pretty much same. I think authors wanted some light mysterious story, which mostly succeded when you think about it, but the end made little sense...
Super meet boy is harder, mostly because moving the character was like moving an elephant on ice, but after finishing TBP in about 11 hours I find early levels quite easy. Fourth chapter is hell though!
1st chapter was easy as hell
2nd chapter was OK
3rd chapter was quite hard but still fun
4th chapter was just frustrasting -_-
I'll try to play Super Meat Boy after reading your comment :)
SMB is fairly hard, but you can't go wrong with it. I bought it for pretty much the same price as this, but it has more content. It might not have a battle system, but the level design, music and general gameplay makes up for it.
But to be honest with you, I MUST recommend Fly'N. Apart from the last level and the bonus levels, the game is fairly easy. It still takes effort, but it's not quirky. (I'd like to note that I beat TBP in less than 7 hours, so "easy" is a relative term. It's just not excruciatingly hard, but it's still challenging at times.)
Thank you for the information!
Or just get Dota and all your gaming needs are solved:)
My team is always me+4 monkeys
Because you need to play with friends. Add me on steam if you want to try dota with non-monkeys, I'll have time later this month for a few games.
Anyway, thanks for the invite =)
Same as BestGuyJP, I found the controls scheme pretty awkward overall (especially the kick and forward attack, yes), the whole combat system felt sluggish and slow somehow, the platforming part was far more enjoyable to me.
The background, story set, chara design, unlockables and co. were very interesting though.
In terms of difficulty however, this is nowhere as close as Dustforce (which is still my best hardcore platform experience as of now).
