I agree,it does not go to hall of fame,but it is a good game.Good fatalities,intensive game play,and massive wars do make this game fun.There are down sides such as graphics,hard to control character and difficulty,I agree.Yet again,game delivers fun battle scenes and a decent story.Don't be all hater,not every game has to be perfect.Remember the times that you were happy with Super Mario Bros. and such.

I recommend this game,and I recommend you to stop being a hater.

I'm glad i got it for £2.50, its easily worth that! I like viking settings as well, and big battles are always a good thing. The 3d mass beat em ups/hack and slash genre is not a common kind of game for the pc either, so if you dont own a game like that its a good one. Just dont be expecting the latest in 3d graphics, even though they are ok i think. In a Fable kind of way.

I also like this game. I like the combat mechanics because of their authenticity (you can't slash through multiple enemies with one slash, no supernatural/unbelievable combo-moves etc.).

The presentation of the story and the soundeffects are my main complains about this game, this really should've be done better. And the performance issues.

But anyway, as mentioned before, I like this game and it is fun indeed.

Im yet done with the campaign...i bet the game on hard difficulty and i felt it was kinda easy...but still with enough challenge not to get bored at all.

My biggest complain is about the Music/Soundeffects, there would be an huge improvement of the "Epic" feeling this game want to bring in with the epic battles

Therefore i felt i was dying more often from falling in the deep - especially to auto-movements

Vikings definitely dont play in a league with Diablo series or something like that---but this game actually costs around 13 € and it definitely worth it

I believe people are mostly upset about it being a poor console port, not that the game itself is bad. The game isn't bad, but the controls and camera are ♥♥♥♥ when playing with a mouse and keyboard.

Everything stink about it. IT SUCKS.

The storyline is poor. Uninteresting. Interraction with npc's is pathetic it does not even work well. Combat are clumsy at best.

It is one of the first games on playstation 2 and it should never have hit the shelves.

It can be fun...but it can be frustrating too. I am playing with a controller so it seems to work well in that respect, but the camera is isane! It does have a tendency to fly all over the place with a mind of it's own.

The dismemberment is actually quite enjoyable and different; it can be very satisfying at times! The save system (based on checkpoints) can make me hate the game though...I REALLY don't like losing progress in a game.

There should be a cheat for the game (i.e. console, mod, etc.), or there should have been an easy mode. I played for 3 hours so far and it was fun, but I am not sure I want to go back for any more. Maybe some kind soul can setup an Autosave cheat?

ah i paid £2.50 for it which imo was a bargin id be as upset as hell if i had paid a load but its only like £10 off the bat. Yeah it isnt the greatest game but for loose change im quite happy with my purchase.
