Controller?

Have to say this is kinda of a lazy post. I haven't played this game for a long time and the last time i tried this game couldn't recognize the xbox360 controller.

Does it work now or has anyone found a fix?

Sorry to post as I always feel bummed when it isn't an answer but I've held off on buying. Does this have native controller support for wireless Xbox 360? Was a console port of a relatively fun game. Looks like it would be but I've read it tries to read mkb and controller so vemus like xpadder or Pinnacle/PaddStarr (way better odd way to obtain now) don't work. Unsure if this was updated.

I could check for you tommorow because i feel the same about this game. Really liked it. I have a wired controller though. And it's locked on 30 fps which is annoying though.

Ahh idc about FPS, 30 is okay just a bummer on speed, but usually doesn't really affect much.

Well thought i keep my promise so: I remembered the controller didn't work on w7. But im running it on w10 now and it's working perfectly. Played for 15 minutes and controller was recognized instantly.

You got me hooked on this game again, although you can tell it's an old game. Have fun!

Don't take my word for it but i think it should work the same. I have wired 360 controller.

Thank you again, seriously. Been wondering for awhile. Never seen a title that recogs the wired and not wireless so as long as it plays, its cheap, and it was fun from my memory.

I think the game supports controllers. It recognized my Xbox One controller immediately. There was even a pic of an Xbox 360 controller before the starting sequence that said below it "Designed for Gamepads"

Same here as it always was on windows 7 with an x360 controller - pictures of xbox controllers all over the place through the config and intro, xbox button prompts all the through the game, but no recognition of an xbox controller using the official drivers, unless you force it with Big Picture mode or x360ce.

Strange, because last time i tried the game worked perfectly. Could be a W7 related issue. Since i have w10 installed i do not have this problem anymore.

Also, w7 isn't supported anymore by Microsoft. Time for a change buddy :D.

Yeh, on Windows 10 it seems to be fine, just chipping in with the w7 situation. Waiting for my favourite games to support an upgrade before I finally remove windows 7, but that's another story for another thread :)

im on windows 10 and it wont recognise my controller.it worked at the start then half way through just wont recognise it anymore

That's very strange. Did you do all the basic stuff? Restart pc? Replug controller? If all else fails, you can try to reinstall the game, without deleting your save games.

Cool to hear people still give this game a go btw. It's been a while since a game like this came out. Pretty sad tbh.

Game has never recognized my wired 360 controller and I've tried it under Vista, Win7, Win8, and Win10. Have no idea why or why not, it just has never, and that's across three entirely different computers. For those who've gotten it to work, I'm jealous XD
