Don't let the visuals fool you - once you've adjusted to them the game is entirely comprehensible.

For those who don't understand the store page, here's my version: this game is a level-based 3d platformer in which you find collectables, complete races (rare), and explore. You have a resource that lets you switch between (many) different forms. Each form has a unique movement style governed by physics. At the start of the game you mostly use a sphere (feels like super monkey ball) - and it... escalates.

The level design is very open - it doesn't feel like there are prescribed solutions. There's an almost metroidvania-esque feeling: "looks like I need to unlock some sort of jumping form to get there" - although in some cases you can jank your way to a solution with what you have - which feels very in the spirit of the game.

Overall game progression feels similarly open. Go through levels as you discover them. Is there an end? I have no idea. I'm excited to find out.

The aesthetic is interesting and coherent - if obviously a little abstract.

The sound fx are not that noticeable. The music is surprisingly good!

I really like it. It's a bit different, obviously a labour of love, and regardless is really fun. Recommended!

Evokes a sense of wonder that's very rare outside of, say, some of Lilith Zone's games. The vivid, psychedelic world is sometimes visually disorienting but the goals and mechanics are surprisingly clear. Great music and sound design, too. I suspected I'd like this game, but it's exceeded my expectations in every way.

Hard to describe.

At its most material, it's a form-shifting platformer where you can swap forms at any time, allowing you to chain form swaps to do funny movement combos. Some stuff is self-explanatory - Tine attract you to magnets, Car is low to the ground and fast, Bomp is a bouncy ball - and some stuff is so odd that its utility has to be experienced - Polyp allows you to phase through walls by altering your center of mass, Pray disappears blocks which slowly reappear. In addition, there's several common rules that lead to some clever puzzle solution, like geometry backfaces being immaterial but not their fronts. You'll have to return to some levels later when you have the right forms to attempt them.

Married to this is a surrealist psychedelic aesthetic that is definitely unplayable to anyone with photosensitive epilepsy and which is more than a little disorienting. As a friend described it, "game looks like my graphics card is dying."

And... it's also very emotionally affective. To reduce this game to its most mechanical elements is to do it a disservice, although not much of one since the platforming challenges are very clever. Lovely music and surprisingly smart pacing/writing that caught me off guard. Most games I play don't/can't surprise me either mechanically or emotionally, and this game has done both. Maybe I've just experienced so many games in my time playing that straightforward "dad loses daughter" stuff can't touch my heart where this can. I dunno.

Definitely a game for the discerning player who is looking for something very different from the pack. Hits the mark for me. Love it.

This game is interesting to say the least and is actually very fun, and also very confusing sometimes. The sounds and music are great and the levels are all interesting and unique. There are SO many ways to beat all the levels using the different forms as well. If you like abusing the physics of a game or just like puzzles in general and don't mind the sometimes jarring visuals I would say you should give the game a try.

Absolute gem. I'm obsessed. Trippy, aggressive to the senses, alien. It invites the player to explore the weirdness of its spaces and its interactions and be ready to embrace that weirdness and exploit it. This game is so, so good.

Another weird, wonderful, hypnotic movement/exploration game from Mr. Atlas! This one is bigger and weirder, with plenty of mystery, challenge, and exploitable physics.

If you like trying to get out of bounds in games or making your way up and around geometry in ways that feel like you're taking "unintended" routes to a goal, you'll probably like this game.

That, plus weird chanting and dial-up sounds.

this is a game I can only recommend with the warning that there is some significant and rapidly changing colours in some levels, so don't play if you can't handle that for whatever reason,

with that aside, I quite like it for reasons I can't quite explain, it is a experience.

deepfried spiritual physics puzzle platformer

the visuals/art direction are obviously a huge draw here but there is also a solid game underneath, combining exploration and ability-gaining metroidvania style with the physics/motion puzzles. the music is also a huge boost to the atmosphere, ethereal background manipulations but also throwing in some big piano hits and distorted noisy grooves (chunk temple theme felt like it was blowing out my speakers and my brain simultaneously)

for fans of antichamber, within a deep forest, super monkey ball, milkdrop visualiser etc
