2008 is much better than TPM 2012 in my opinion, many more topics and even scenarios. Much more realistic in this one.

i just saw you need to register a stardock account,in this age of sing ins and passwords im simply overloaded and it is enough of a inconvienience to put me off,Iv heard a few people say 08 is better too =)

It was kinda inconvenient over here as well, but I managed to update it and sign it into my computer, and it works like a charm. :)

I agree 2008 was waaaay better, and I'm having the same issue in terms of finding a place to buy it digitally. I miss the historic and even fantasy scenarios. "Europe in the mind of American teenagers" or whatever. 2012 was almost a complete downgrade aside from the current candidates.

Google shopping lists a couple of stores[www.google.com] that still sell a physical copy of TPM 2008. Prices range from around $6 to $19.

I bought mine from eBay for around 10 bucks including delivery. Well worth the price. Was kinda hard to get it registered with gamestop and impulse, but managed to do it and get the updates, and enjoying it now.
