This game needs better communication for when it saves.

Just quit after a boss, but didn't get a save, guess I didn't go far enough, but what "far enough" is, is pure guesswork.

The games saves at the start of a new chapter (floor 11, floor 21, floor 31, etc.). That's it.

Ah yes, not having a "game is now saving" icon or an option "continue" or "quit" after every chapter is definitely a skill issue on my end. The brainrot is unreal. Whatever though, refunded the game.
