Is there any Meta Progression?

Since the game is a rogue lite just wondering if there is any meta progression after death? Permanent upgrades, persistent currencies, etc.

Or is the game a full reset (minus checkpoints) when you die?

There is some, you get them after defeating a boss every ten floors

The game has some elements of roguelite but is mainly for fans of ARCADE games. You keep permanent modifiers that make tour life easier and checkpoints every 10 floors.
