TL;DR: walk around enemies that you can't kill do not try to dash around them. skip bad and mediocre upgrades, only take perfect upgrades. skip most enemies, a few kills and one soda or melee finisher is enough to beat most levels.
One thing you need to do a lot in this endless challenge is simply walk around enemies that you can't kill. If you try to slide around an enemy in a tight hallway because there's nothing there for you to kick them into it will always fail because the kick is very forgiving, it will stick onto enemies that aren't actually in front of you. However if you do not slide and instead simply walk around them, you should get by without a problem. Once I learned to do this, it made the challenge a lot easier.
Also in case you don't know: If you get ten upgrades in endless and then skip the next upgrade, you won't lose your first upgrade. So what you should do is only take upgrades that are really good for your build or the challenge you're on (for the foot challenge you want laser jamming, 3x speed boost, grapple or barricade, item scanner, enviro kills, maybe clear bottles and I'm sure I'm forgetting some), any time the shop shows you bad upgrade just skip. Once you have ten perfect upgrades, skip everything. Now you'll keep those upgrades for the rest of the endless run, they'll never get bumped off (this also means a lucky run with 10 great items in a row will nearly guarantee you reach 30 floors).
Also keep in mind you can skip waaaayyyy more enemies than you normally would in any other kind of run. Going fast I beat levels in 18-25 seconds or around 35 seconds if I get a bunch of long rooms, that means I only need 8 to 25 extra seconds (ignoring damage and endless time constraints). So realistically, I need to kill a few enemies and get at least one soda or melee finisher per floor. With how many enemies are placed right next to environmental traps, that's too easy.
(also also also, of all those items I mentioned earlier Laser Jamming is top priority, take it over EVERYTHING. Lasers are my #1 killer when I'm playing fast)
now with the new update, i hope with the new laser bonus players can lean faster to use lases to kill enemies too. It can e stacked with environmentalist bonus.
15% Speed
-20% Enemy accuracy
Item pickup range
Bulldozer
Lava Boots
Drone kicking
Ice grenade
Ice grenade, Bulldozer and Item pickup range are mvp for this challenge. I'd say also lava boots should be replaced with laser jamming but like I said it never showed for me
Congrats! And yeah Ice Grenade is pretty crazy. I've only used it a few times but every time I've tried it, it ends up way more helpful than I initially think it's going to be.
Also you should try out Item pickup range + item scanner + clear bottles. There are a lot more random sodas and melees around the level than I realized before I tried out item scanner a few times. Item scanner also works with clear bottles by highlighting all booze bottles around the level. It's a very interesting change of pace taking full advantage of all the items on a level.
