level 3 plasma gun pain

Simple put, would it at all be possible to reduce the recoil on the level 3 plasma gun so it in fact does not almost bring you to a complete halt when fired while running forwards (and cur down on achievable insane speeds when used while running backwards)

The only machinegun in the game with infinite ammo, and also without the penalty? this would broke the game. The point of the weapons is find the one that fits your style. If you dont like the penalty, it is not your style, i recomend the mac 10, but mac 10 dont have infinite ammo so its not broken.

Not saying remove the recoil entirely, just saying reduced it a touch or two so it doesn't almost completely immobilise you when you shoot for more than 1 second or maybe replace the recoil with rapidly increasing spread on shots?

as it stands right now the lvl3 plasma gun is a hard avoid/10 :(

reduce it sounds cool. since plasma gun is not the favorite weapon of anyone on discord server, maybe a little buff will not hurt.

I liked it but that knockback is what makes me want not to use it, killed me a couple of times by being stopped by it over a void when it still used to kill

if over a void slam spin 180 then slam it, you can in most cases yeet thy self to safety
