How do you get pew pew/joke weapon

ive been trying for hours.. ive seen that the fastest way is to just play chapter 8, reroll.. if neither have the joke weapon (hand gun with a his actual hand) then quit and try again..

Does the rifle over-write the joke weapon? I've been rolling for ages (having done all other achievements) and I've not seen a hit of it

no. you need to play again a difficulty that you already beated to the joke weapon has a chance of appearing.

Thanks for the clarification! i beat partially on 2 different difficulties and that was my problem. <3
