Unplayable on Legion Go

The game is displaying in a strange ratio, almost like a portrait phone screen completely cutting off both sides of the screen. Cant seem to find any options to fix this.

Expanding on this- this is happening because the Legion Go's native screen is portrait. You can run it at a proper resolution if you play the game windowed, but the play window is too small. I tried changing the Go's resolution to 1200x800 to see if then running the game at 1200 x720 might work, but sadly it doesn't. It's still cuts the screen off and runs vertical.

OK, got a workaround in place- play the game at 2560x1600 or 1920x1200, put it in windowed mode, then go into the Legion Space app and change the resolution to 1200x800. This will make the windowed game much larger. Not full screen, but playable. 1024x576 will display everything. 1280x700 fills up the screen, but the bottom is cut off. Maybe setting the taskbar to auto-hide will work.

It's 2560x1600 natively but the screen orientation is also natively portrait.

It's a portable device, like Steamdeck right? That's a pretty interesting resolution.
Mullet Mad Jack changes it's hud to accommodate less wider screens, like the Steamdeck, and wider screens as well.
I will try to google more about Legion Go, and see if I can simulate this resolution on my side.

Also tried lowering the resolution in game and then upscaling using lossless scaling to try and have it full screen, but then the game goes into slow motion for some reason.

Yes, it's similar to the Steam Deck and Asus Ally.

Seems to happen on any handheld PC that isn't the Asus Ally or the Steam Deck (all have native portrait displays)

I am having this same issue with my onexplayer mini pro. Resolution for height and width are swapped.

Found temp fix
full screen but small cut on the right and the left but playable .

Open the game folder,
Right click on the game then properties ,
Click on the compatibility tab,
Click on change high dpi settings ,
Look down at high dpi scaling override, select, and choose system
Click ok then apply
