great game but 10 second lives make the game way too easy
game is very generous with the amount of extra time you can get from enemies, enviromental kills and pickups.
but they are a must because otherwise you wont have enough time to survive.

what the game needs is varried time for lives depending on the level.
having a 30 second life but with much less pickups and more dangerous enemies will make the game more fun and challanging IMO.
especially since largee levels will also require you to move to different sides and not just forward the whole time

Did you try out the HARD mode or PERMADEATH? we would love to have feedback on our discord about hard and perma modes, it will help us to make the game more challenging. we also have levels with multiple paths.

yeah i tried it on hard and it's not much more difficult considering how fast it is to kill multiple enemies with some weapons

PERMADEATH is less appealing to me in general i think its a far too punishing concept for video games, we have plenty of perma death irl...

and different paths hardly matter when you always progress by pressing the foward key

so maybe we need a harder mode then. no problem. we will tweak the game to be more challenging until launch.

sounds great, but i still think having larger levels with a bit longer time could also be fun as well, and add more variety to the game
