FPS Drops

Occasionally in this game, I encounter noticable frame drops which really hinders my enjoyment of this game. I never had this problem in the base game, or F2 while we're at it. Is there any known way to fix this?

I was doing fine but then I got to Interval 3 and the framerate went to hell.

Quicksaving causes stuttering, only manual save.

Yep as above, quicksave defintely bugs the framerate.

does the FPS drop go through the whole game or does it stop at some point. I only manual save,it does checkpoint save, it just seems really random. Sometimes i can play for 30 minutes other times it happens in 5 minutes. Does it stop at any point.

If you have a Logitech mouse, it can be a probleme. Check it on the internet.

You have to install dinput8.dll into "Steam\steamapps\common\FEAR Ultimate Shooter Edition\FEARXP"

"Steam\steamapps\common\FEAR Ultimate Shooter Edition"

and "Steam\steamapps\common\FEAR Ultimate Shooter Edition\FEARXP2" for it to work. If you cannot figure out how to open a .zip file...we can also teach you that.

I also have FPS drops and poor peformance compared to original FEAR, not related to that input bug.

For example there is part in subway where my FPS suddenly drops to 20 when looking at certain part of it. I have no idea why, there is nothing there.

Also sometimes I get FPS drops when enemies dies.

Also didn't work for me. I copied the dll file to all directories that contain executable files of fear, extraction point and perseus mandate.

Same problem here. Interval 3 (the subway) murders my fps when I look at lights.

Same problem for me at Interval 3 of Extraction Point: I installed the fix as suggested but I still suffer from massive fps drop in the metro, especially in the blood soaked room with the invisible beings. I tried to lower the video settings but nothing helps. Is there any fix?
