Legal problems?

hey um i was looking into this products and... i don't think this game is legal?, copied map,same name,same sound effects,same goal, if this was a fan game it would be fine but the problem comes because its... paid? if anyone could clarify the "legality" of just taking a game and selling it with new graphics without permission from the original copyright holders it would be much appreciated, dont get me wrong this game is cool and looks great i just concerned about the whole legal side

They don't have permission from dvloper to create this game, but the developers of this game will tell you a lie that it's fine since they aren't using dvloper assets and that the word granny isn't copyrighted so that gives them the go ahead to create this game. The developers have also put words in dvloper's mouth and have stated that "why do we care so much if dvloper himself does not care about this game..." These are all lies by the developers of this game. Don't support developers who steal and lie.

Prove what exactly, that your developer friend doesn't have permission to create this game and his false logic about the word granny not being copyrighted makes it "okay" for him to steal someone's intellectual property?

I mean people don't have to take my word for it. They can email Dvloper himself or tweet him on his Twitter.

just looked through some other discussions the dev himself said he didn't get permission but deleted it later
