Me too. Figured out the other door but this one made me want to kick my face in. This game doesn't seem to be good at explaining its mechanics.

As frustrating as that is I think that is the point : )
There are actually "tutorial" type puzzles that implicitly explain but you need to explore to find them.

of course it is: The trick to all tetris puzzles is that you have to realize the location of the shapes , past the very few tutorials, is designed to confuse you.Imagine the shapes in different places, and it'll be much, much easier.

I'll give you the start of my solution (because I CBA to try to work out/remember the rest of it, and this'll put you on the right track) ULLURULUURDR. That puts two of the shapes in their right places, and leaves you to figure out the remaining two.

Assuming I remember my solution correctly in my head. CBA to work it out right now, puzzling has fried my brain.

Both of the door that leads away from the cinema is solvable. And either of them will open, letting you through. I solved both.

They are both solvable. Be aware that Ringwraith King's answer contains the solutions, so you may not want to view that image unless you have given up solving them.
