Imagine the space you need to form if they were all touching, but not overlapping.
The mental gymnastics of those puzzles can be tricky! :D
Solution exactly: R,R,R,R,U,L,L,U,U,U,R,R
So, you can put the 4-long along the bottom, as long as it is connected to it's icon by one of the 3-longs.
So, as long as all the icons are all within the encompassed area, it's all good - they don't need to be specifically in THEIR OWN shape as part of the solution. Back to it then! :D
Thanks, folks!
I got to the rotating blocks, did the very first two tutorials and got stuck on the third one with the two Г shapes.
I'm not sure I understand the difference between the symbol slant variations. The original two had a VERY right-slanted symbol and in those I'm doing rotation to the left / counter-clockwise.
The one that stumps me with the two Г-s has a LIGHT left slant on both symbols. I tried testing the rule and it accepts the right symbol with the beak pointing down.
Now, I don't think the grid coulд physically fit both Г-s with the beak pointing down like that ¬
Is there an extra rule I'm missing? Is the slant just indication of rotation direction or does one of those mean "rotation optional"?
