There is either a hidden rule or this is unsolvable.

Given "no rotation" and the very spaced-apart nature of the obligatory blocks to include, I don't think this is doable. I tried placing every of the three shapes to include every of the three corner points and it never connects.
Can someone clue me in a little more before I just open a solution spoiler? It has been HOURS, still stuck, I drew about 20 grids and filled them with all possible configurations of the blocks that include the 3 corners and nothing is a valid, traceable solution.
There is indeed a solution and it's the simplest solution you can imagine.
Allright, I will go have another look when I get back from work and see if I can infer anything meaningful and relevant to this big grid.
Thanks, Platoon Sarge!
The previous red boards got me used to "one volume fits all" and my brain somehow disregarded this! :D
