Treehouse timer door, I'm missing something here right?

No screenshot but anyone who's completed the treehouse should know about it (if you don't, i'll get a screenshot edited in). I hate to ask for help but this just seems impossible. It's a uh basically upside down U shape that opens a door that you have to run over to. Problem is, the timer goes too fast for me to get inside. Is there a trick/hint on how to do it? Thanks guys.

Some of the puzzles have more than one possible "exit" position

Basic hint: You can't run faster or make the timer go slower, so how else can you get there sooner?
Bigger hint: You need a shorter path
Basically the Solution:You need to move the bridges to make a shortcut

I would have said the 'run for it' solution was impossible, but someone actually managed it somehow. It is not, however, what the devs intended.

Wait... Really? I thought of this solution but it seemed like they wouldn't match up when i tried messing with that.

Keep experimenting with it. It's easy to be duped into thinking it won't work because of how restrictive the game is normally cliffs and ledges.

yeah how do you change the directions of the bridges? ive opened up all of the bridges yet its impossibe

Some puzzles on the bridges haves several exit points, each is reachable using different solutions. That's how you change the direction of the bridges.
