Tree temple fourth column question

I'm trying to figure out the fourth column in the tree temple. So far, I've managed to do this. Obviously the middle section is missing, at least here. I've tried shifting to the left and right, but the adjacent branches from the third column don't seem to fit (nor did I expect them to). I don't want the solution, but just a simple yes/no answer to the following questions:

1. Is the middle part of the puzzle found within the temple?
2. If it is, is it, say, more than five steps from the position I'm in (as per the screenshot)?

Same. And I'm still confused after seeing the above pictures.

The missing bit is in your third pic, obviously. You'll need it fit it into the hint for the puzzle. IIRC, there were 2 ways it could fit, but only 1 is correct.

Also, I dunno what's up with those first 2 screenshots, but they aren't right. The first one looks edited (wrongly) and the second one is irrelevant.

Yeah, I didn't notice that piece until the comment. That piece is crucial to solving that puzzle, and then Tree Temple is done.

It's ridiculous how long I got stuck on such an easy puzzle and the hint made it instantly clear where to look. But it was the last puzzle for last laser I was missing so I got I decided to finally look for a hint. Well let's see where this goes now.
