I believe in you bro

Lol I felt that way for two days, then I cracked it.

Some tips in case it helps:

  • If you know you're not going to make it, give up early.
  • When you're at the part where you're not sure which board will light up next, try to move in such a way as you can see as many of the remaining boards at once.
  • I saved/wasted the most time when I had the sets of three boards. As a general rule, you can immediately discount boards where you need to separate colours across a diagonal (with the exception of corners). Eg any time you need an hour glass shape (at 45 degrees). That often let me ignore one or both of the duds quite quickly.
  • You've got ~6:40 for the whole thing. If you haven't reached walk-through maze before the 2nd movement ~4:40, give up.
  • Note that the location of the puzzle board in said maze is predictable ([spolier]look at the location of the dots on the table-top puzzle you solve (puzzle #4)[spolier])

Hope some of those help.

Best of luck!

I haven't even attempted it, it's just...not what I bought the game for. It's not like it's positioned halfway through the game blocking access to a heap of stuff, so I'm happy to just leave it not done.

Fair enough. I think there's a reason it's completely optional. I know a couple of people who will not be doing it.

That said, if you feel like a challenge, it is satisfying to do (of course, the previous 20 failed attempts are immensely frustrating)...

Bros, I didn't even make it to the triplet panels after ~6-7 tries. I guess I need to see a video of the whole thing, get a feel for whether or not I will be able to do it at all.

I have serious issues with many of the tetris puzzles thrown in the first few panels. More often than not those look like they're impossible due 4-5+ broken segments even on a 4x4 grid.

I'm pretty slow with all puzzles, and I draw on paper absolutely everything that has more than a total of 4 tetris squares on it.

Another thing - do I need to do the challenge to see the second ending? Because the first one was pretty disappointing and I keep seeing spoiler topics discussing the "proper" ending.

I don't think so. Go back to the room with the record player and try to go past there.

Do I need the pattern I found on a scrap of paper?

The only panel of that shape that I remember is the one in the tutorial yard and it didn't care what you originally drew on it.

Snake, you need activate all lasers for second "full" ending video, end game and after restart activate "sun's exit" at the start Another way -- at the challange tunnel you can find sign to actiavate "sun's exit" at the beginner's castle and get to the end with real 100% puzzles, audios and signs.

Can you explain that a little better?

I have the drawing for the sun exit panel that you get in the Challenge area.

Do I need 100% of all obelisks and general puzzles to use this and trigger the proper ending?
JayDi Feb 8, 2016 @ 1:21am
Snake, no, you do not need obelisks or 100% puzzles. Only lasers... Hmmm...

Well, I've saw "wrong" secret ending on youtube (short video with "bad" enviroment). BUT I can't find that "bad" video in game's files. Only "good" secret ending. Now I think you can get it anytime from "sun's exit" without any puzzles or lasers.

Restart game and do sun's gate -- that's all. Try it and tell us what you see.

I have already seen the sun exit version that has him falling over and tapping circles in the world.

I have NOT seen the other version I saw online, of an older version of the office, without wall decorations and with him just casually walking outside. Is this the one that is triggered by the pattern in the Challenge area, when input in the sun exit panel?
JayDi Feb 8, 2016 @ 1:37am
Snake, challenge's pattern do same thing -- activate gate with same end video. Nothing more.
