Orange environmental puzzle - dock

Have not been able to figure this one out. I have solved the orange container puzzle, but no matter what angle I view the environmental puzzle from, I cannot get the orange line to be solid. I've tried on and off the boat and from every angle I can find.

Any suggestions appreciated.

There is no one set place where that entire puzzle is solid.

Of course - should have picked that since I have done other ones of a similar nature.

I sure need a hint. If riding the boat doesn't solve it, what does? Even the reflection isn't doable.

I have the same issue with the places you step on. No angle seems to be able to get them from up high.

The solution was I had to do the door (which I'd done, but didn't see the connection). And I had to take the boat around that dock.
