Green line environmental puzzle in the windmill theatre

Sorry if this is covered in a guide or other thread somewhere, I spent quite a long time searching since it seemed like the kind of question that would be asked a lot but for some reason didn't find anything. In the theatre there's a video you can play with a guy who holds up a green microscope image, which lines up with the edge of a circle and lines on the doorway, but no matter how I position myself I can't seem to get it to line up properly. Is there some trick to getting it?

No trick. You must just be standing in slightly the wrong place. Keep trying.
