Water reflection long puzzle
In the temple section, in the room where the water level can be controlled up and down, there is a slightly differently shaped puzzle which is long and has lots of diagonal backslashes across it. I could only ever see the glare in the reflection for the middle section of this puzzle. No matter where I stood the left and right sides were in shadow at all times. In the end, I took the bit I knew and brute forced the ends. This didn't come back to bite me as whatever I was supposed to do I evidently didn't have to do again, but I have been wondering: what IS the solution here?

There were only six or so possibilities from the information I knew, so brute forcing wasn't especially adrduous, but surely there should be some intended logic behind it that I missed?

I believe you may be referring to a puzzle where you can only see the solution by standing in the right spot as the water's actively changing its level.

There are two places where you can stand to see the middle and end parts of the solution. One of them can only be seen while the water is in motion. Then, based on the starting point of the middle section, there's only one possible configuration for the first section.

Thank you for this. The middle section I managed to see while the water was in motion. The end part of the solution is the part I just could not find. I felt like I'd stood everywhere and done everything.
