Church: Doorpuzzle contains new elements never explained in the game

I cannot remember any tutorial or puzzle in the tree house or anywhere else that deals with more than 2 stars in one area, let alone have that twice.

The stars require you to have no more than 2 in each area of the same colour but clearly that is not possible here. This is the problem I have with this entire area, it requires you to know all signs yet it introduces new unexplicable things.

I have solved all the colour puzzles in the tree house, I have solved all the colour puzzles in the laboratory with colour changes. I know how it works, I just can't find it. I will never post a puzzle until the last resort. And before suggesting any other tutorial, yes I also did those.

I haven't done this one yet but my guess is that you can mix and match the red and the pink for some reason.

I skipped by the exact same puzzle unable to solve it and you and I apparently think alike(didn't attempt it though for I don't know the mechanic behind those icons yet)

If you did the lab, then you know what you need to see the colors differently. It's the exact same solution, you just need to look around.

If you did the lab, then you know what you need to see the colors differently. It's the exact same solution, you just need to look around.

Well all I can see is that there is sunlight, which should not change the colours or am I completely dumb. The final floor of the lab was outside, and it didn't change the colours on the panel, so my logic is now just the same :( I can't find any nearby colour that could change the stars.

Look at the window colour on the puzzle right beside the church one.

Look at the window colour on the puzzle right beside the church one.

Ok... that helped me a bit further but not to the solution, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to be carried to the last bits here. So: I saw that white becomes yellow, and blue becomes green. Green remains green, red remains red, black remains black.. To be honest this makes it even harder for me solve the puzzle, there's no way now to keep groups with only 2 colours!

I've been playing this game 10 hours straight, no pauze... Well I found the solution. People having difficulties with this puzzle, this thread should fill enough information until the very end, but to help you even more: With all the spoilers revealed, make sure to look at it a different way.

I would save this area for last. It involves puzzle elements from pretty much every area in the game.

This puzzle was really clever. I'll jsut say there's something you need to do, and then somewhere you need to stand... and then you will have the actual puzzle layout.
