Does The Witness suports xbox one/360 controller?

Good question, I have no clue. Possibly because it is also made for PS4, so the game does work with a controller?

Yes, but I believe there is a launcher that pops up when the game starts, so you'll have to use a mouse/keyboard to navigate that before playing.

I've been playing the game only with an Xbox One controller so far with no issues.

Both xbox one and xbox 360 controller work, tested this morning with no issues.

Make sure your controller is powered on BEFORE starting the game, otherwise it won't be recognized.

Cant seem to get it to work.. No option to choose controller.

Are you on Windows or Mac? Which controller exactly? Make sure your controller is plugged in before starting the game.

Hi, I am on windows 10, Xbox 360 controller for windows. The controller was plugged in when I started the game. Cant find the option for chosing the controller.

There's no option to choose, if the controller's setup correctly it should just work.

Which version of the driver are you on? I have 10.0.14393.0 here.

(You can find it under Device Manager -> Xbox 360 Peripherals ->Xbox 360 Controller for Windows -> Properties -> Driver)

10.0.14393.0, seems to be the same driver. Bought the humble bundle version. That shouldnt mean anything right?

No difference, they're the same.

Does your controller work with other games? The only other thing I can think of is that it's plugged into an incompatible USB port, but if it works elsewhere it's obviously not that.

When you go into the controls menu on the pause screen, are there sliders for changing the pad deadzone etc? If not, that means it's not seeing the controller at all.

Not such a option. Only for mouse sensitivity and x,y axis for mouse.
