Newbie, non-techie Help getting started
I can't figure out how to move around and control the "light". I got thru the first door but can't line up at the second door. I'm used to a mouse moving me where I want to go. Very frustrated. Would rather play the puzzles than spend 30 minutes unable to line up to the second puzzle. Please point me to a tutorial or tips or other guide to the way to control movement in the game. Thanks

Just moving around I steer with my mouse and use the errow keys on the keyboard. On some puzzles I have to move real slow it seems to help. Not sure if it is me or the game as most of the puzzles turning is not a problem but some puzzle are not even when I go back a few days latter. ttutorial, tips and guides use steam or you tube. Also take a brake from time to time. Like a day or more. Explore the island.

Thanks for your reply. I don't even understand the impact of different settings. I'm frustrated that's there's no "help" for setup. Most of the discussions here are over my head with regard to technical issues. I'd really like to play this game and recommend it but for amateurs just the navigation and setup issues are too difficult. I may need a refund.

Use WASD for movement forward, left, backward, and right respectively.

The mouse controls your ability to look around. If you left click however, a white border comes up and basically puts you in "puzzle mode".

If you are in puzzle mode, WASD won't do anything. Just right click to get out of puzzle mode and continue moving.

Push W to move in the direction you're looking.
Push A to step left. D to step right.
S to walk backwards.

Moving your mouse will change where you're looking.

Left clicking will bring up a white border around your screen and enable you to interact with the world, mostly with puzzles, but will also prevent you from moving around.

Right clicking will back out of the 'left-click' mode.

Don't worry about settings. Run it on 'High' if you can and it runs smoothly, otherwise Medium. If that doesn't run smoothly, just go with 'Low'.

It's really not that difficult. Pretty much the exact same controls as any other FPS on PC.
