Does it really take 100+ hours to beat fully?
I've only played for a few hours, but the puzzles seem really hard, at least some of them. But the game is amazing looking, even if its a bit lonely :(

The hours it takes is individual. I've heard some people saying that it took them about 40hours to 100% the game.

I played to the ending, not bothering to 100%. It took me 20 hours.

Are you talking about 100%-ing by doing it youself or by following a walkthrough ? A big part of the game involves spotting things as you walk past them. Over 100 of them. And they're hard to spot. So that "100 hours" may include you happening to be looking in the right direction when you stand in a certain spot and having a certain realisation. That takes a great deal of walking about.

I bet I could spend 100 hours in-game and still not find them all.

Zisteau did some livestreams of the game and churned quite a few hours into the game, He did all the main puzzles but the didn't really get too close to the environment ones. It takes a looooong time, especially when you're wondering around over and over for the last few *^*

Depends on how good you are with puzzles and how quick you are to spot all of the hidden stuff. To 100% the game with no guide, it took me somewhere around 70 hours. (I played on PS4, so I don't know the exact amount).

Edit: Since I actually haven't found all of the audio logs, I haven't really "100%" it.

I'm just over 3 hours in and I've solved only a few of the basic puzzles, but most of the time just walking around. The game world isnt that big, but it just feels immense in terms of playing it through. I look forward to it.

When you say you 100%ed the game with no guide, that wasn't your first playthrough was it ? You were relying a little on your memory of where you found things previously ?

First playthrough. My borther and I worked through it together, so it was a team effort.

Although I haven't found all of the audio logs, so I guess I haven't really "100%" it. I was just thinking of the load screen puzzle count.

I have 31 hours into the game, but a third of that time is due to one particular puzzle (no spoilers). I still have some things to clean up though. Expect around 20 hours to get to the end, and then much more than that to explore and find everything.

Ah. There is more to the game than the puzzles. To 100% it you have to ... erm ... do things which aren't obviously in your way preventing you from proceeding. Like the audio logs but more so. So you didn't really 100% it.

You mean like the (spoiler)environmental things?

I completed those. I have (spoiler)523, +135, +6.

Oh, I did. If you managed to find all those with just two of you looking you are very alert. I withdraw my comment.

I've found a few of those but boy are they hard.

I took 40 Hours to 100 % the game, getting stuck a few times. If you take your time, explore and really want to find everything, then plan about 50 hours.
No. I'm at 27 hours and I've done basically everything, but the few remaining things include stuff like the 56 minute puzzle. If you're looking for a completed game playthrough, I think 20 hours is about right. If you're looking for 100%, probably 40-50 hours. 100 hours is the kind of time you take if you miss one last critical detail but keep playing endlessly due to a surplus of patience.
