"When the maze has two start points, think about moving the light path over a block or two to match it up with a new start point."
but why? Why, where's some tip or explanation. It seems total random.
Look at the sign post itself, notice something different about it?
Answer:
The sign post is bent/in the ground at an angle. You are solving the puzzle as if it were standing up strait like all of the others. See how if it was strait, the solution would match up with the path.
Because of that, you have to make the assumption that the light has shifted over slightly and that you must start from the other position. It's a mix of logic and environmental aspects.
This type of puzzle has happened once before, assuming you started the game on the typical path. One of the transparent puzzle panels on the symmetry island requires a similar solution.
