Why does every moving thing go SO EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW

My god its insane the number of elevators or moving bridges in this game that move comically slow for no reason. I wrote this whole post just to kill the time spent riding an elevator.

There actually is a reason why many bridges and elevators and such things move slowly. I'm not talking about "because it's a meditative game" or "to make the game last longer", but a practical in-game reason.

Telling you what it is is a huge spoiler, so I'm not gonna do that. Just please believe me and continue playing the game until you find out what it is. When you figure it out you'll be grateful that they move slowly.

congrats you spoiled it anyways.

when my platform moved really slowly , i noticed it and tried to figure out why , and learned.

what should happen is the platform should speed up once there is no longer a reason for it to move slowly.
