Or perhaps you could make cut outs of the shapes and move them around in person to give you a better idea of what the solution may be.
I have finished every set of puzzles except the marsh and town. I got halfway through the marsh. I hate it so much. I understand what needs to be done, I just can't and won't do it.
I see, just making sure you weren't trying to do these without understanding the rules haha.
Well like I said, drawling them out or making cut outs of them help so youu don't have to imagine the solution so much as actually see it.
To each his own I guess. Lots of people find different types of puzzles to be harder or easier for them then for other people. I did have trouble with a few of the latter tetris puzzles but eventually figured them out. Some people really have trouble manipulating shapes in their head, personally I'm pretty ok at it. That all being said, I disagree with your opinion that they are poorly designed
