SPOILERS I'm stuck in the castle after opening the second ending

I've been working on the town obelisk, and I went back to the castle to reset the gate and do the environmental puzzle with the sun. It opened up the doorway to the dev spa that defies space. However now I'm stuck inside the castle courtyard. I can't figure out how to get back out into the rest of the game so that I can keep working on the town obelisk and turn it white.

I have the feeling that this must be possible because I've seen a screenshot of the town obelisk, white.

Please can anyone help?

The game saves right after you reactivate the gate but before you open the hotel/credits. However the game still knows you completed that puzzle and saves that information.

So just load your previous game, input a different solution into the panel and the gate will shut off and the obelisk should say you've completed it.

I just want to add that you should go all the way through to the end of the dev hotel before loading your game. Once you've done that and watched the secret ending the game will reset and when you load it up again you will be back in the courtyard with the environmental puzzle for the gate still unsolved, but you will receive its symbol on the town obelisk. Then, like eys said, you can open the courtyard gate normally and proceed out.
