Anyone able to destroy those pillboxes for the hill forts on the Verdun map?

There is only one way of destroying those things and it is an undermine explosive, but seeing as I only get one, it only allows me a breach that I can exploit to get on the point. They don't get captured when you cap the point however which is freaking dumb. I have tried every other method of destroying them though from air to heavy arty and infantry and tanks. Nothing

Have you tried siege artillery? Those should. I've not tried them but it costs 200 supply per use and there may even be removed through pre-battle bombardment

When I played the historical verdun battle it seemed that flamethrowers destroyed them quite quickly

Y'all need to kill them with flame throwers. I lost so much of my infantry before I figured this out. One second, everything is fine... Folks are doing the Kaiser's work.. Then I look away and look back and that damned pill box has come back to life and just like that... Poof. Meine Infantrie alles sind kapputt. The flame thrower works well, but you gotta get your StoBtruppen close enough to let er rip which is a task in itself.
