See posts like this ruin the game and community, and potential new players will avoid this game because of the assumption the game is abandoned. Yea no current updates have come out but the last update was for mod support. Thus its more likely the devs are going to do a lump sum update instead of minor hotfixes. Therefore its best to have faith and wait. I mean you already have the game, and its a great experience for new players who enjoy WW1 and want a unique and authentic WW1 RTS.

Maybe you're right, however the Devs are the ones at fault. It is up to them to communicate their future plans for the game to the community. The last Dev post in this forum was 5 months ago. In my experience, that is usually not a good sign. How much effort is required to just pop in for a minute and say: "Hey guys, not to worry, we got stuff in the works"?

It is abandoned.

According to the devs, they are not at liberty to make an update unless the editor wants them to. Considering this game was almost certainly not profitable and petroglyph is now working on a new title, i'll let you do 1 + 1.

This depends on how you look at it, the devs have already explained that they have no future updates for the game and consider the game to be fully complete, though they will make compatibility updates where needed

I hope they bring more stuff to it, maybe change the negatives. It defo has potential but its very repetative (Not the trench Warefare aspects) the gameplay. Units cant do much when attacking.

I mean the games not EA so I m not sure why they would be updating it a bunch. Its worth the 10 bucks I bought it for. In short the game is "complete".Still worth the price for me its fun

Well it is fundamentally broken in that the vast majority of unit bonuses don't actually work 90% of the time, defense is impossible to lose once you stop connecting your trenches and offense just has no reason to be when you win all your defensive battles meaning it's a strategy game where the best way to win is to not use any strategy, but besides that not much of a reason to update.

I'm blaming the publisher more than the devs for the lack of updates btw. however the design of the game is just... no words.
