Graphics already look dated

I know graphics don't make a game fun but that's no excuse for such low pollys and textures that have exaggerated bump maps and everything looks burnt. Doesn't look promising graphically.

Edit: well the screenshots in question have since been removed from steam so i guess i was correct. I will be buying the game anyway.

As most gamers know, it’s not all about the graphics, gameplay always trumps graphics. Some of the most graphically impressive games from AAA developers are complete and utter garbage, and I find them in the discount bin for $10 only 3 months after release

Look at the screenshots further. They've had some post processing applied to them.

indeed, these are not Total War graphics and it looks as if the angle will be somewhat limited as well…

On the other hand, at least a developer/publisher who has the guts to take the gamble to produce a WWI game of that scale.
