Some tips on Natural Wonder rules
It's in the compendium too, but here's a summary to highlight the differences:

In Continental, you can get more than one Natural Wonder card for a habitat type (vegetation type, landscape type, whatever you call it...). They cost habitat cards, so there's a trade-off in there, too, that it's necessary to have in mind. But if you're getting enough habitat cards in the late-game drops, you can get multiple Wonder Cards for the various habitat types. These Wonder cards are easy to place, you just put them on one habitat cell anywhere inside your habitat. And remember that habitats can be MORE than 12 cells under 1 Wonder, so you'll lose animal points but gain Wonder bonus points.

But in Savannah there is no more than 1 Natural Wonder for each habiatat type. And they take up 7 cells each (empty cells !) and have weird shapes, and are quite awkward to fit. The shapes are shown in the Compendium (but very small) so you have an idea what you're aiming for, and also says on the card itself. Note that the Wonders in Savannah have to be placed on empty cells, and you get bonus points for the number of 'touching' cells of the same habitat type as the Wonder.

In Marine, there's again only 1 Natural Wonder per habitat type, and they also take up 7 cells (habitat cells!), but they all have the same, simple shape, and are quite easy to fit. Note that the Wonders in Marine have to be placed ON habitat cells of the same type.
And in case you were wondering: the extra bonus thing for the Natural Wonder in Marine works for habitats already placed on the map, as well as for ones you place later on, after you've used the Natural Wonder card.

These Natural Wonder rules weren't exactly super obvious at first...
And the new biome (Jurassic) that is coming sometime later this winter will likely have yet another set of rules ;-)
