You want to build the rocks first. Then add the River (length 13, not 12) and the lake. Then grass and animals.
The trick is to have rocks first, then make green grass on those fields later. And you want to leave only one hex free, to seperate the two grass habitats. One of the rocks touches the river.
Out of your comment, I can't realize how a rock will touch the river without blocking one of the green habitats. I supposed that's where I'm failing.
