Like omg the way they communicate is so cool, From what i remember the ai actually LEARN's STUFF, as in the only react to where you are if they actually see you, one time one of the them hiding behind a box they weren't peaking, I threw a grenade right at their area, instead of that one saying something, the only one who was peaking and saw the grenade said "get out of there!" it's the small thing's that make's it so memorable.
Even one time when one unexpectable charged at me alone, which replica's would rarely do and said "die modafukka"
Waiting for the proper FEAR 2.
Badly optimized for what? Use available fixes.
I played it on several different computers on different OSes (Windows XP-Windows 10, FreeBSD, Linux) without any major issues.
The story can be boring for new players probably.
What did you expect?
Just kill the enemies and walkthrough.
The story is always: getting seperated, Hunt for fettle, jumpscare, repeat.
only title to ever come close is Trepang2
and Extraction Point (the first expansion for FEAR) is the only one that EXCEEDED the original campaign
At too high fps physics can go nust so best to cap it.
I would not mind a 64 bit remaster that works out of the box and looks somewhat better and has better widescreen support.
