Controller Support Mod?

I was wondering if there is a controller mod of some sort. My setup puts a big strain when I use mouse and keyboard for more than an hour at a time. This is why I'm asking this.

I play with a controller and it is totally fine experience. I just have to ratchet (reset the origin of the motion control) too often compared to other game but I can deal with that.

Controllers don't work right for me. Besides the right-stick sensitivity others have mentioned, I also have other issues.

For instance, both the left bumper and R3(clicking in the Right Stick) activate slomo; iirc from playing on xbox 360, R3 is supposed to zoom in your aim. And no other button has zoom bound it so I can't zoom in to aim....

This is because of my other problem; I can't remap the gamepad controls either, as I have no options on the gamepad config screen. All I can do is click OK. So if I want to use a controller, I'm forced to use whatever the current control scheme this is.
(and afaik, the key bindings are in the Profile.gdb file in the Documents folder, which is encrypted, so I can't manually do it there either.)

Ok so inhave the same but somehow i remaped them. Hmmm i did it few months ago so i completly forgot how to do that .. i think i used steamdeck build in remap option, only remap optiom is not in controlwr optio but in configure controls option. Try to bind it somehow in pc option ? Daim, i csn help only about steamdeck. Sorry, peace !

You don't have to explain why you use a gamepad to M&K loud mouths. I'm fine tuning my gamepad controls as I write, so if you haven't already you must enable Steam Input, then go to Community Layouts and pick one that looks suited to you. If you've never set up gamepad controls for a game w/o native gamepad support you'll probably want to adjust the right stick sensitivity to a ratio you prefer, 100x/75-80y suits me. ATM, I'm trying to figure out how to hold-to-zoom instead of toggle aim but I don't think Steam Input allows it yet.
I'm using the 360 layout with my PS5 gamepad and after some tweaking it works fairly well.
