Last I checked the game fully supports that resolution.
You may have to set the aspect ratio to 16:9 first though.

Ok, I will try to set the ratio first. Thanks.

In principle, for F.E.A.R. Ultimate Shooter Edition, there should not be any trouble to run it at 1920x1080.
By cons, regarding "Extraction Point" and "Perseus Mandate" here's what to do :

Run the game once and configure the options HOWEVER you like.
Exit the game
Run notepad and open C:\Users\Public\Documents|TimeGate Studios/FEARXP\settings.cfg
Change the "ScreenWidth" and "ScreenHeight" values to match your desired resolution. (1920 and 1080)
Run the game aims do not go to the "Display" in-game configuration menu or it will reset your resolution and you'll need to edit the config file again.

For me it works great ! For "Perseus Mandate", you must do the same in FEARXP2 folder.

I need some help with this. I cannot find the 'TimeGate Studios' folder, nor am I finding settings.cfg for FEAR. Everything else I've tried won't force the game to work in my resolution.

If your on about the origional F.E.A.R., then no you shouldn't be able to find the Timegate folder and that's beacuse Timegate only worked on the expansion packs.
The Default address is the Monolith Productions folder in your documents.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR

If it is Extraction Point or Perseus Mandate, then the Timegate folder will be around the same area.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\

In there is the Config File.

I own the GOG version, and out of the box it supported up to 1080p.

In fact, you can pick pretty much any resolution. The only issue is that after 1440p, the HUD stops scaling, so it's pretty much unreadable at 4K unless you enable the Windows Ease-of-Access crap with magnifiers and text-to-speech.
