Combat was around for a lot longer than F.E A.R. Online.
Combat is the original F.E.A.R. Multi Player.

thanks for the link. player quota while not overwhelming is not that bad for ancient game like this.

oh, btw. Fear/Fear Combat is masterpiece compared with horrible turd which Fear Online was. comparing last one to first two is a blephemy actually, and Im not joking. original fear has masterful gameplay. I know its common knowledge abut you never know who's gonna come here so im pointing that out... FEAR/Combat is THAT good.

F.E.A.R. was released 2005,
F.E.A.R. Multi Player (Combat) was patched out of the main game in 2006 and set as a stand alone item.
F.E.A.R. Online was released in 2014.

Yes, the player base is small, especially when compared to its glory years, 2005-2009
But it is still alive thanks to the fans in the community that keep it alive.
Some days it's got a lot of people online, some days quiet.

The community is working on a update that will hopefully spark some new interest in playing.

There is work going on the background, but it is still alive, people still play, and new people come along all the time.
